Lake Garda (Lago di Garda) is the largest of the Italian lakes and perhaps the most scenic situated in northern Italy

and offers indeed an amazing natural diversity on its backdrop, great views, historic and picturesque villages on the lake’s shores, castles and caves surrounding the lake.

Itinerary

After leaving Milan in the morning on a comfortable private minivan or car, you will reach Lazise on lake Garda.

You will have some free time to explore the beatiful village and do not forget to admire its old-style villas, the

medieval castle, the harbour and the old narrow streets.

In the restaurants of the area you will be able to taste food influenced by the Mittleeuropean culture of Veneto, Alpine specialties from Trentino Alto-Adige (such as air-dried ham and Austrian-style carne salada – salted beef), and recipes from the Lombard plains with local olive oil from ancient groves, and enjoy the local white and red wines, among the top wines in the world: Valpolicella, Soave and Bardolino.

Later in the morning you will reach the hotel in Valpolicella an enchanting place, immersed in silence in the middle of one of the most well known wine producing areas in the world, where it is pleasant to relax doing your first tasting wine and visiting an amazing cellar.

On second day it will be an exclusive wine experience in Soave area that will introduce the world-class wines of the Rocca Sveva collection and the priceless Settecento33 Lessini Durello Metodo Classico Riserva, wines that you will savour in the elegant framework of the centuries-old Villa. You will guided through Rocca Sveva’s underground cellars, a city in miniature hewn out of the hillside rock, where the grape becomes wine and outstanding wines become excitement.
